Skateboarding has been a passion in our lives for many years and we finally came together to collaborate and obtain one of our many goals in life, which was to make our love for skateboarding into our dream job.  We plan to make skateboard instruction and education easily accessible to the youth of Orange County and hope to make skateboarding lessons as common place as karate and music lessons have been throughout the world.  Skateboarding is a fun and challenging sport that promotes health through exercise and discipline.  Childhood obesity and lacking of social skills are just a few of the problems affecting many of Americas Youth through poor diet and fatty foods that are available to them and with the popularity of the internet taking away from social interaction.  We plan to change that one child at a time by allowing our students to partake in plenty of regular scheduled skateboarding routines and allowing them to meet other fellow skateboarders in the area during the lessons.  Even if your kid is not affected by these epidemics, skateboarding is an awesome way to meet new friends, stay in shape, and to learn how to SHRED!

Shred-ED Goals: I started Shred-ED to share my love for skateboarding with the generations to come.  I want to educate aspiring skateboarders as well as parents.  Skateboarding kept most of my friends and I out of trouble throughout my teen and young adult years.  I’ve learned that if you stick to something and put all of your heart into it, you will be  blessed with an amazing ride.  Through Shred-ED I hope to teach and inspire young skateboarders to never give up.  Maybe skateboarding will take your little shredder around the world one day.

Shred-ED Goals: In June of 2007 I started my own skateboarding instruction business and found out fast how big the demand was for skate lessons.  Derek and I have been talking since then, trying to figure out how we could make a business where we make lessons available to the majority of the students in search for expert advice on skateboarding.  Due to this growing demand in Orange County, we decided to expand our services by starting Shred-ED.  Our goal is to make lessons more available to all skateboarders and to give them the quality time they deserve with one of our qualified skateboard instructors.
